Structural Support Framework

The structural support frame system is protected with a 5-year limited warranty for the duration of ownership against material defects.  This can be transferred upon change in property ownership and must be registered (via phone) within one year of client’s vacancy, in order to be eligible. These defects are limited to the following:

• Rusting metal of a severe nature
• Loose or dislodged threaded nut inserts
• Damaged or stripped thread on adjustable feet
• Cracked/loose spacers
• Improper levelling of support feet resulting in structural defects to the frame

The Porcelain Tile (1CM)

The porcelain tile comes with a 1-year limited warranty. The following is covered:

• Improper levelling of support feet resulting in cracking porcelain tiles or structural defects to the frame.

Note: Due to conditions in certain surfaces, a foundation may settle over time resulting in uneven and unsupported areas. Designer Deck cannot guarantee the stability of the structural frame when this unpredictable instance occurs. As such, the porcelain tile may crack without the proper support and/or the frame may be compromised resulting in twisting or bending – Designer Deck cannot be held responsible. Our company highly recommends the purchase of additional porcelain tiles upon order, in the event that cracking occurs in the porcelain tiles due to these conditions or blunt force impact. This will ensure correct colour matching in the event that this component of the product requires replacement. Additional charges will apply beyond 1-year of coverage, if Designer Deck is asked to return and rectify these potential issues.

Note: If movement occurs, it can be identified immediately following product application due to human error with installation.  However, when this product line is installed correctly, movement is impossible unless applied on ground level surfaces.

Protection
The porcelain tiles come with a 1-year manufacturer’s protection warranty. Defects are limited to the following:

• Latent defects in the product caused by improper manufacturing
• Damage to the product (not including mishandling due to cleaning and improper placement of tile on frames/blunt force objects dropping and cracking porcelain tile)

Note: Warranty does not apply, where improper use of this product takes place or natural conditions/environments may have adverse effects on our products beyond control. This will be inspected on a case-by-case basis and solely at Designer Deck’s discretion.

Professional Installation

This product comes with a 1-year installation warranty. The following is covered:

• Movement of a severe nature (inspected and covered at Designer Deck’s discretion)
• Movement in adjustable foot pedestals and/or additional padding which may be added for height ie. wood/Styrofoam/plastic levelling plates
• Improper levelling of support feet resulting in cracking porcelain tiles or structural defects to the frame.
• Missing/dislodged shock-absorbing spacers

Support Pedestals (System requirement) 

The pedestals are protected with a 25-year limited warranty for the duration of ownership against material defects.  This can be transferred upon change in property ownership and must be registered (via phone) within one year of client’s vacancy, in order to be eligible. These defects are limited to the following:

• Loose or dislodged parts i.e. Self-leveling plate, height coupler
• Damaged or stripped thread on adjustable sections of the part

The Porcelain Tile (2CM)

The porcelain tile comes with a 1-year limited warranty. The following is covered:

• Improper levelling of pedestals resulting in cracking of porcelain tile(s).
• Minor cracking or chipping of the tile’s edges only and at Designer Deck’s discretion
• Flaking of the surface finish and not as a result of misuse

Note: Due to conditions in certain surfaces, a foundation may settle over time resulting in uneven and unsupported areas. The Opulent collection of deck tiles are protected with a 25 year limited lifetime warranty for the duration of ownership, against material defects. This can be transferred upon change in property ownership and must be registered (via phone) within one year of client’s vacancy, in order to be eligible.  Warranty claims will be reviewed at Designer Deck’s discretion and limited to the following possible defects.

• Incorrect embossing
• Difference in colour match (within dye lot)
• Colour deterioration of a severe nature
• Protection against mould/mildew
• Loose or dislodged spacing bumpers

The following criteria will determine replacement or refund.
(Residential Use Only)

• Within 1-12 years of installation date – 100% before tax
• Within 12-14 years of installation date – 80% before tax
• Within 15-17 years of installation date – 50% before tax
• Within 18-20 years of installation date – 25% before tax
• Within 21-25 years of installation date – 10% before tax

(Commercial Use Only)

• Within 1-12 years of installation date – 100% before tax
• Within 12-14 years of installation date – 80% before tax
• Within 15-17 years of installation date – 50% before tax
• Within 18-20 years of installation date – 25% before tax
• Within 21-25 years of installation date – 10% before tax

Note: According to the time frame criteria listed above, the customer may be responsible for covering the cost difference of replacement product. Designer Deck cannot also guarantee that material colour will match exactly with the existing flooring, if replacement at a future date is required. As such, our company highly recommends the purchase of additional material upon order for added security. If a refund is requested, the customer may only be eligible for a certain percentage of the original order total before tax.

This product comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s defect warranty. Defects are limited to the following:

• Incorrect material sizing
• Improper assembly i.e. loose staples
• Defective pressure treating (risers only)
• Warping/cracking of risers  

Additionally, this product come with a 35-year manufacturer’s defect warranty and limited to the following part only:

• Wood Risers – that develop rot, decay, mildew, termites or fungus (not covered in conditions where wood components are subjected to ponding due to incorrect foundation slope and/or excessive debris build-up that has collected moisture over time due to incorrect maintenance)

We use PAD (partly air dried) grade 2 wood to assist against warping and cracking in the risers. However, this is a common characteristic of wood and as such, cannot be controlled completely. Should you experience this issue, Designer Deck offers a limited repair service under warranty. Please refer to our repair policy for further details.

The recycled plastic deck tile boards are protected with a 25 year limited lifetime warranty for the duration of ownership against material defects. • Incorrect embossing
• Difference in colour match (within dye lot)
• Colour deterioration of a severe nature
• Loose or dislodged expansion bumpers (if applicable and specified on order)

The Verdure line of grass deck tile insert, is protected with a 5-year manufacturer’s limited warranty against excessive wear, fading and sun damage. This is applicable to the high-quality artificial grass portion only, but can last many years past the manufacturer’s warranty if properly cleaned and maintained.

The wooden backing that the artificial grass is mounted on, is protected with a 2-year manufacturer’s defect warranty. These defects are limited to the following:

• Improper assembly i.e. loose staples
• Defective pressure treating
• Warping/cracking in wood backing tile  

Additionally, this product come with a 35-year manufacturer’s defect warranty and is limited to the following part only:

• Wood Backing – that develop rot, decay, mildew, termites or fungus (not covered in conditions where wood components are subjected to ponding due to incorrect foundation slope and/or excessive debris build-up that has collected moisture over time due to incorrect maintenance)

• Loose and/or missing stapled required to fix faux grass on cut pieces only

Thermory Hardwood

The European line deck tile has a class 1 durability rating, resistant to rot & decay for up to 25 years or longer. It is protected with a 2 year manufacturer’s defect warranty. Defects are limited to the following:

• Incorrect material sizing
• Improper assembly i.e. loose staples
• Defective thermory treatment
• Warping/cracking in risers (if applicable)  

Additionally, this product come with a 35-year manufacturer’s defect warranty and is limited to the following part only:

• Wood Risers – that develop rot, decay, mildew, termites or fungus (not covered in conditions where wood components are subjected to ponding due to incorrect foundation slope and/or excessive debris build-up that has collected moisture over time due to incorrect maintenance)

As with most natural materials, hardwoods have a tendency to react to weathering. Although thermal modification stabilizes wood, making it seven times less likely to warp, check, bow, cup, twist, expand or contract; be aware that these defects cannot be controlled completely, and if you should experience these issues, the tile and riser is warrantied under our limited repair service. Please refer to our repair policy for details.

Professional Installation
This product comes with a 1-year installation warranty. The following is covered:

• Movement of a severe nature (inspected and repaired at Designer Deck’s sole discretion)
• Movement in levelling materials (not including mishandling due to client cleaning/maintenance methods)

LED Deck Tile Pot Lights

Designer Deck’s LED pot lighting systems are warrantied against all defects in workmanship, assembly and materials used in the products. We’ll repair or replace (at our sole discretion) any product that fails to operate due to a defect within the following time frames:

• 3 years for lights
• 2 years for transformers
• 1 year for photocell timers

The warranty does not cover :

• Items which have become damaged due to mishandling, improper installation (when attempted by any other than Designer Deck trained professionals) or use, or resulting from extreme acts of nature.

Professional Installation
This product comes with a 1-year installation warranty. The following is covered:

• • Improper connection of concealed wiring
  • Loose transformer/photocell timer that had been fixed to a solid structural element ie. wall, column, beam
  • Missing parts (due to human error) which result in operational issues
  • Loose mini LED pot lights/trim

Structural Support & MountingThe aluminum metal trim and mounting materials are protected with a 5-year limited warranty for the duration of ownership against material defects. This warranty may be transferred upon change in property ownership and must be registered (via phone) within one year of the client’s vacancy in order to remain eligible.

These defects are limited to the following:

• Severe corrosion, oxidation, or rusting of aluminum components beyond normal environmental exposure
• Loose, dislodged, or failed mounting adhesives or fastening systems caused by material defect
• Warping, bending, or structural failure of aluminum trim sections caused by manufacturing defect
• Improper levelling or installation resulting in visible separation, movement, or structural defects caused by installation error by Designer Deck

The Aluminum Trim Components

The aluminum trim comes with a 3-year limited warranty.

The following is covered:

• Premature fading, peeling, or failure of powder-coated or finished surfaces caused by manufacturing defect
• Warping, distortion, or separation of trim pieces resulting from improper manufacturing
• Surface defects including blistering, bubbling, or finish breakdown not caused by misuse or normal wear and tear
• Structural weakness resulting in cracking or separation under normal intended exterior use

Note: Due to conditions in certain foundations, masonry, siding, stucco, concrete, wood framing, decking structures, and other mounting substrates may settle, shift, expand, contract, or deteriorate over time resulting in uneven or unsupported areas. Designer Deck cannot guarantee the long-term stability of the aluminum trim system when these unpredictable conditions occur. As such, movement, separation, bowing, or mounting failure may occur where the substrate itself becomes compromised. Designer Deck cannot be held responsible for issues resulting from:

• Building settlement
• Structural shifting or movement
• Moisture intrusion behind wall systems
• Freeze/thaw cycles affecting mounting surfaces
• Improper substrate preparation by others
• Existing wall deficiencies not visible during installation

Additional service charges may apply beyond the 1-year installation coverage if Designer Deck is requested to return and rectify issues resulting from these conditions.

However, when this product line is installed correctly and on a properly prepared substrate, movement is unlikely unless the supporting structure itself becomes compromised.

Protection

The aluminum trim system comes with a 3-year manufacturer’s protection warranty.

• Defects in anodized finish 
• Premature finish failure under normal exterior exposure
• Product failure caused by improper manufacturing processes
• Structural defects not caused by misuse, abuse, or environmental damage beyond normal conditions

Note: Warranty does not apply where improper use of this product takes place or where natural conditions and environments may have adverse effects on the product beyond reasonable control.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Coastal salt exposure or excessive chemical corrosion
• Harsh chemical cleaners or improper maintenance
• Pressure washing damage or abrasive cleaning methods
• Blunt force impact or accidental damage
• Fire, flooding, hail, storms, or extreme weather events
• Unauthorized cutting, modification, or repair by third parties
• Installation completed by others
• Animal, insect, bird, or pest-related damage
• Vandalism or accidental impact damage

This will be inspected on a case-by-case basis and solely at Designer Deck’s discretion.

Professional Installation

This product comes with a 1-year installation warranty.

The following is covered:

• Movement of a severe nature (inspected and covered at Designer Deck’s discretion)
• Improper levelling resulting in visible gaps, uneven alignment, or structural instability
• Loose or dislodged trim sections caused by installation error
• Improper fastening resulting in separation
• Missing or improperly installed fasteners or joining adhesives
• Visible defects caused by installation error determined solely at Designer Deck’s discretion

Transferability

This warranty may be transferred to a new property owner provided that:

• Ownership transfer occurs within the warranty period
• Warranty registration is completed with Designer Deck within one year of vacancy or sale
• Original installation records remain available for verification

Failure to register the transfer may void warranty eligibility.

Final Disclaimer

Designer Deck reserves the right to inspect all warranty claims prior to approval. Repair, replacement, or corrective action will be determined solely at Designer Deck’s discretion.

This warranty covers repair or replacement of defective product only and does not include reimbursement for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including labour by third parties, removal costs, access equipment, landscaping disruption, or related construction expenses.

Structural Support & Substrate PreparationThe structural support and substrate preparation for the 2CM exterior porcelain edge coping system is protected with a 5-year limited warranty for the duration of ownership against material defects. This warranty may be transferred upon change in property ownership and must be registered (via phone) within one year of the client’s vacancy in order to remain eligible.

These defects are limited to the following:

• Improper adhesion caused by defective installation materials supplied by Designer Deck
• Structural shifting caused by failure of approved support materials/parts used during installation
• Cracking or separation resulting from improper substrate preparation completed by Designer Deck and where ground level (on earth) applications permit
• Improper levelling resulting in visible movement, instability, or structural defects in the coping system
• Failure of edge support resulting in loose, displaced, or unsupported coping pieces

The Porcelain Coping Edging (2CM)

The 2CM exterior porcelain coping edging comes with a 1-year limited warranty.

The following is covered:

• Cracking caused by improper levelling or inadequate support completed during installation by Designer Deck
• Structural defects resulting from improper placement of coping pieces
• Failure of coping pieces due to latent manufacturing defects
• Separation or movement caused by improper installation of porcelain coping components

Note:  Due to natural conditions in certain surfaces, foundations, concrete structures, retaining walls, pool edges, steps, and masonry applications may settle or shift over time resulting in uneven and unsupported areas. Designer Deck cannot guarantee the long-term stability of the coping system when these unpredictable conditions occur.

As such, the porcelain coping may crack without proper support and/or the structure beneath may become compromised resulting in movement, twisting, lifting, or separation.  As such, Designer Deck cannot be held responsible.

Our company highly recommends the purchase of additional porcelain coping pieces upon order, in the event that cracking occurs due to settlement, environmental movement, freeze/thaw conditions, or blunt force impact. This will help ensure correct colour matching if replacement becomes necessary.

Additional charges will apply beyond the 1-year coverage period if Designer Deck is requested to return and rectify these potential issues.

Note: If movement occurs, it can often be identified immediately following product application due to human error with installation. However, when this product line is installed correctly and on a properly prepared substrate/pedestal, movement is unlikely unless shifting occurs within the supporting structure itself.

Protection

The porcelain coping edging comes with a 1-year manufacturer’s protection warranty.

Defects are limited to the following:

• Latent defects in the product caused by improper manufacturing
• Surface defects including delamination, abnormal structural weakness, or manufacturing flaws
• Damage to the product excluding mishandling due to improper cleaning, improper installation by others, blunt force impact, dropped objects, or misuse
• Premature failure caused by manufacturing defects under normal intended use

Note: Warranty does not apply where improper use of this product takes place or where natural conditions and environments may have adverse effects on the product beyond reasonable control.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Freeze/thaw expansion and contraction
• Ground settlement or structural movement
• Pool chemical exposure beyond recommended use
• Salt exposure, de-icing products, or harsh chemical cleaners
• Blunt force impact or accidental damage
• Improper snow removal tools or methods
• Pressure washing damage or abrasive cleaning methods
• Installation completed by third parties
• Structural failure of the underlying substrate

This will be inspected on a case-by-case basis and solely at Designer Deck’s discretion.

Professional Installation

The following is covered:

• Movement of a severe nature (inspected and covered at Designer Deck’s discretion)
• Improper levelling resulting in cracked coping tiles or structural instability
• Improper placement causing uneven joints, poor drainage, or displacement
• Loose or dislodged coping pieces caused by installation error
• Improper edge support resulting in unsupported overhang or shifting
• Missing or defective bonding materials supplied during installation

Transferability

This warranty may be transferred to a new property owner provided that:

• Ownership transfer occurs within the warranty period
• Warranty registration is completed with Designer Deck within one year of vacancy or sale
• Original installation records remain available for verification

Failure to register the transfer may void warranty eligibility.

Final Disclaimer

Designer Deck reserves the right to inspect all warranty claims prior to approval. Repair, replacement, or corrective action will be determined solely at Designer Deck’s discretion.

These defects are limited to the following:

• Severe rusting or corrosion of mounting hardware, brackets, or support framing beyond   normal weathering
• Loose, dislodged, or failed anchor points caused by material defect
• Cracked, broken, or defective mounting clips, fastening plates, or support brackets
• Improper levelling or installation of framework resulting in visible sagging, panel separation, or structural instability caused by installation error by Designer Deck

Faux Greenery

The faux greenery wall panels come with a 5-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in the artificial foliage material for exterior wall applications.

The following is covered:

• Premature UV fading of a severe nature resulting in significant discoloration beyond normal weathering
• Cracking, splitting, or brittleness of foliage material caused by manufacturing defect
• Excessive shedding or detachment of foliage elements due to defective panel construction
• Warping, distortion, or separation of panel backing caused by improper manufacturing
• Failure of integrated locking connectors between panels due to product defect

UV Protection & Material Integrity

The faux greenery panels include a 5-year manufacturer’s protection warranty against latent defects related to UV resistance and material performance.

Defects are limited to the following:

• Latent manufacturing defects affecting UV stability
• Premature degradation of synthetic foliage under normal exterior exposure
• Defective plastic backing or mesh panel construction
• Product failure caused by improper manufacturing processes

This warranty does not include:

• Natural weathering over time
• Minor fading consistent with normal sun exposure (at Designer Deck’s discretion)
• Damage caused by pressure washing, harsh chemicals, improper cleaning methods, or abrasive maintenance
•  Damage caused by blunt force, vandalism, animal interference, fire, or environmental hazards beyond reasonable control

Professional Installation

This product includes a 1-year installation warranty when installed by Designer Deck.

The following is covered:

• Movement, sagging, or panel separation of a severe nature resulting from improper installation
• Improper fastening resulting in loose or dislodged panels
• Improper levelling causing visible gaps, uneven alignment, or structural instability
• Missing or improperly installed mounting clips, brackets, or fasteners
• Visible defects caused by installation error determined solely at Designer Deck’s discretion

Weather & Surface Conditions

Note: Due to conditions in certain wall surfaces, foundations, masonry, siding, stucco, concrete, wood framing, metal or other mounting substrates may shift, settle, expand, contract, or deteriorate over time. Designer Deck cannot guarantee the long-term stability of the mounting framework where these unpredictable conditions occur.

As such, panel movement, separation, or mounting failure may occur where the substrate itself becomes compromised. Designer Deck cannot be held responsible for issues resulting from:

• Building settlement
• Wall movement or structural shifting
• Moisture intrusion behind wall systems
• Freeze/thaw cycles affecting mounting surfaces
• Improper substrate preparation by others
• Existing wall deficiencies not visible during installation

Our company highly recommends inspection and correction of wall substrate conditions prior to installation to ensure proper long-term performance. 

Additional service charges may apply beyond the 1-year installation coverage if Designer Deck is requested to return and rectify issues resulting from these conditions.

Exclusions

Warranty does not apply where improper use of this product takes place or where natural conditions and environments may have adverse effects on the product beyond reasonable control.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Acts of nature including extreme wind, storms, hail, flooding, fire, or ice damage
• Improper cleaning methods or chemical exposure
• Unauthorized repairs, removal, or modifications by third parties
• Installation on unstable, damaged, or unsuitable surfaces
• Excessive weight loads or unsupported applications
• Commercial abuse or misuse beyond intended decorative wall applications
• Animal, insect, bird, or pest-related damage
• Vandalism or accidental impact damage

All warranty claims will be inspected on a case-by-case basis and approved solely at Designer Deck’s discretion.

Transferability

This warranty may be transferred to a new property owner provided that:

• Ownership transfer occurs within the warranty period
• Warranty registration is completed with Designer Deck within one year of vacancy or sale
• Original installation records remain available for verification

Failure to register the transfer may void warranty eligibility.

Structural Performance & Load Support
The structural integrity and load-bearing performance of the pedestal system is protected by a 25-year limited warranty for the duration of ownership against material defects.This warranty may be transferred upon change in property ownership and must be registered (via phone) within one year of the client’s vacancy to remain eligible.Covered Defects Include:

• Structural failure of pedestal components under normal load and specified conditions 
• Cracking, splitting, or deformation due to material defects 
• Failure of adjustable height mechanisms (threading, locking systems) 
• Instability caused by defects in base or head components (Slope plates)
• Load-bearing inconsistencies resulting from manufacturing defects 

Pedestal Units (Product Warranty)

Pedestals come with a 1-year limited product warranty.

Covered:

• Manufacturing defects affecting performance or structural stability 
• Breakage under normal intended and specified use 
• Defective adjustment mechanisms or locking features 
• Improper fit or tolerance issues affecting compatibility with approved tile systems or The Safety Grid 

Manufacturer Protection (1-Year)

Covered:

• Latent manufacturing defects 
• Material inconsistencies or structural weaknesses 
• Premature failure under normal environmental exposure and intended use 

Exclusions:

• Damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or overloading beyond specified limits 
• Use with incompatible tile systems or unapproved accessories 

Installation & System Performance

Proper installation and spacing of pedestal systems are critical to achieving a stable and level finished surface.

Covered (1-Year Installation-Related Warranty):

• Improper leveling resulting in tile instability or movement 
• Incorrect pedestal spacing causing uneven load distribution 
• Failure to properly secure pedestal components during installation 
• Misalignment affecting system performance when installed by Designer Deck 

Important Limitations & Environmental Considerations

Outdoor pedestal systems are subject to environmental and structural variables beyond control.

Designer Deck cannot guarantee long-term performance where the following conditions occur:

• Movement or failure of the underlying substrate (soil, concrete, roofing systems, etc.) 
• Structural shifting, settling, or deflection of the supporting surface 
• Improper drainage leading to water accumulation beneath the system 
• Excessive or uneven loading beyond recommended specifications 

These conditions may result in movement, instability, or system failure and are not considered product defects.

Exclusions (Not Covered Under Warranty)

This warranty does not apply in cases of:

• Freeze/thaw expansion and contraction 
• Ground settlement or structural movement 
• Overloading beyond manufacturer-rated capacity 
• Improper pedestal spacing or layout 
• Use with incompatible tile systems or third-party accessories 
• Modification or alteration of pedestal components 
• Blunt force impact or accidental damage 
• Improper handling, storage, or installation 
• Exposure to harsh chemicals, salt, or corrosive substances 
• Damage caused by construction activity or external equipment 
• Installation completed by non-approved third parties

Transferability

This warranty may be transferred to a new property owner provided that:

• Ownership transfer occurs within the warranty period 
• Warranty registration is completed within one year of vacancy or sale

The Safety Grid Unit (Product Warranty)

The Safety Grid comes with a 1-year limited product warranty.

• Manufacturing defects affecting structural integrity 
• Breakage or failure under normal intended and specified use 
• Defective connection points 
• Inconsistencies in fabrication leading to improper fit with compatible pedestal systems 

Manufacturer Protection (1-Year)

Covered:

• Latent manufacturing defects 
• Material inconsistencies or structural weaknesses 
• Premature failure under normal environmental exposure and intended use 

Exclusions:

• Damage caused by misuse, overloading beyond rated capacity, or improper installation

The Safety Grid is designed to integrate with Designer Deck’s pedestal systems only. Proper installation is required to ensure performance.

Covered (1-Year Installation-Related Warranty):

• Improper seating or engagement with pedestal heads due to installation error 
• Misalignment causing instability or uneven load distribution 
• Failure of grid placement resulting in movement or displacement 

Important Limitations & Environmental Considerations

Due to the nature of outdoor environments and structural systems, certain conditions are beyond control.

Designer Deck cannot guarantee long-term performance where the following occur:

• Movement or failure of the underlying pedestal system 
• Substrate instability (e.g., shifting soil, settling surfaces, structural movement) 
• Excessive or uneven weight loads beyond recommended limits 
• Improper spacing or layout of pedestal supports 

These conditions may result in movement, instability, or failure of the Safety Grid system and are not considered defects in the product.

Pressure Treated Pine Tile

Cottage Plank and Rustic line deck tile products are protected with a 2-year manufacturer’s defect warranty. Defects are limited to the following:

• Incorrect material sizing
• Improper assembly i.e. loose staples, brad nails, risers
• Defective pressure treating
• Sap Marks (Excessive sap may show up on areas of the lumber and is completely normal although unappealing – this will be inspected and repaired at Designer Deck’s sole discretion) *pictures may be requested prior to service*
• Warping/cracking of risers (when applicable)  

Additionally, these products come with a 35-year manufacturer’s defect warranty and is limited to the following part only:

• Wood Risers – that develop rot, decay, mildew, termites or fungus (not covered in conditions where wood components are subjected to ponding due to incorrect foundation slope and/or excessive debris build-up that has collected moisture over time due to incorrect maintenance)

As with most natural materials, softwoods have a tendency to react to weathering. We use PAD (partly air dried) grade 2 wood to assist against warping and cracking of the deck tiles. However, this is a common characteristic of wood and as such, cannot be controlled completely. Should you experience this issue or any of the above (2-year manufacturer’s defect only), Designer Deck offers a limited repair service under warranty. Please refer to our repair policy for further details.

Professional Installation
This product comes with a 1-year installation warranty. The following is covered:

• Movement of a severe nature (inspected and repaired at Designer Deck’s sole discretion)
• Movement in levelling materials (not including mishandling due to client cleaning/maintenance methods)
• Dislodged tiling or trim fascia that may have be fixed in certain areas for safety/aesthetic purposes

Outdoor/Indoor Tiles

The Canadian line of deck tile is protected with a 2-year manufacturer’s defect warranty. Defects are limited to the following:

• Incorrect material sizing
• Improper assembly i.e. loose staples, risers
• Defective pressure treating (risers only)
• Warping/cracking of risers (when applicable)  

Additionally, this product come with a 35-year manufacturer’s defect warranty and is limited to the following part only:
