Floating deck systems are intended to be used in situations where delicate surfaces require a durable but unfastened solution. As such, these structures can be custom built onsite (and to spec) using secure sub-framing made of pressure treated pine wood and covered with your material of choice in either Composite, Pressure Treated Pine, Alaskan Yellow Cedar or Tantimber Thermal Treated hardwood deck boards. The sub-structure has the versatility of being supported with pedestals or dense Styrofoam blocks, which serve the purpose of leveling the deck to the required height.
Creates a natural void between your ground level patio, balcony, rooftop or terrace surface, allowing any rainwater to run freely to drains, preventing unwanted moisture, mildew and ponding that could cause long-term problems
Allows plenty of access for small electrical wires, pipes and/or irrigation; concealing obstructions for a clean overall finish
Cost-effective solution to building a fastened deck
Custom built to spec on site
Finished deck board surface material available in a variety of finishes
Can be constructed to comply with height code regulations relevant in low-rise townhomes, as a ‘low-profile’ solution
